Sponsored Hoopers

Elaina Weed

Elaina Weed, Spondored ShelLed Hooper!
Elaina Weed

Elaina is our free-spirited sponsor from Illinois. Going to a very small high school (like 500 people total) was difficult at times for a gal with such an open minded demeanor and thirst for excitement. She discovered hooping as a junior and immediately knew she needed to pursue the sacred circle. Hooping has helped her to find herself by also opening her mind to yoga, meditation, and crystal healing. She has and continues to inspire friends and acquaintances to get involved in flow arts and hopes to move someplace warm and welcoming to spread the hoop love and enjoy her passionate hobby and lifestyle free of judgment. Oh and so far on her hoop journey she has performed with a local band in her area AND has been featured in a music video with Futuristic! How cool is that!! Krista Snyder

Krista Snyder, Sponsored ShelLed Hooper!
Krista Snyder

Krista is our big hearted busy-bee sponsor from Ohio. On top of raising a beautiful little girl, and working full time with her family business making tubes/rafts for water parks, she is also an animal rescuer! She is the foster coordinator for Josephs Legacy (josephslegacyrescue.org) ….I see it all the time on Facebook how involved she is with re-homing rescued pets and such. She has three dogs of her own too! It’s hard to believe that she has time to hoop as busy as she is, but not only does she hoop, she is also highly involved in the social media hooping community by being administrator of three popular Facebook groups (Infinite Circles Community, A Hooper’s Closet, and F/H/C Clothescycle). She enjoys hooping with a 36” 3/4” polypro hoop, and prefers being on the other end of the camera as the photographer versus taking videos of herself. You can follow our busy-bee Krista on Instagram @missdead

Jessica Tobia

flower child

Jessica is our flower child sponsor out in Northern California. She first started hooping in Syracuse with friends from college, and that’s where I met her! After graduating (BS Biology) in 2012, Jess has worked seasonal environmental jobs in Oregon and California and continued focusing on her hoop flow. Jess’s passion for the healing and dance arts led her to earn two fitness certifications in Nia movement this year and Jessica Tobia persue her interest in leading weekly Nia and Hula hoop dance classes in the nearby city of Redding, CA. Other than hooping, Jess’s favorite hobbies include doing yoga, hiking, brewing kombucha and maintaining her homestead/hobby farm by caring for chickens, goats and gardening. Stay tuned as she is in the process of creating an instagram page and  once complete would love to connect with more flow friends!

Kathryn Lathrop

Kathryn Lathrop

Kat is our fun and funky sponsor from Michigan. Since she started hooping over 2 years ago her flow has grown to many other props- (poi, Leviwand, contact juggling, multihoop, buugeng, and flowersticks) She quotes “The more I learn with one, the more I discover with the others. It’s all connected! That’s what I love so much about the flow arts. There’s always room to learn more, to grow, and to share. Flow has also helped me immensely in my journey of self discovery and self love. I’ve never felt more comfortable in myself as I do in my hoop.”
